PROJECT ON TRANSPORTATION OF THE NEW VOLUME OF OVERSIZE CARGO TO ROOPPUR NPP
Transportation of a new volume of ODC, with a total weight of more than 1600 tons and a volume of 5413 FT, to the Ruppur NPP by order of “Atomstroyexport” JSC was carried out by two routes.
From the port of St. Petersburg, the equipment was delivered to the port of Mongla, where the cargo was reloaded onto a barge for further transportation to the berth of the Ruppur NPP site with subsequent trucking.
The second route was the transportation of oversized cargo from the manufacturer's plant in Belgium to the port of Antwerp, from where the cargo was exported by sea to the port of Chittagong, Bangladesh. From the port, the cargo was transported by road to the construction site of a nuclear power plant
